What Toxic Chemicals Are Contained in Cigarette Smoke?


here There might be as much as 4000 different chemicals in cigarettes. So far it's been determined that a minimum of 50 of these chemicals are known to cause cancer.

The most commonly mentioned substances are nicotine, tar and deadly carbon monoxide. Nicotine is an insecticide. Tar is an oily substance used to pave driveways and roofs. Carbon monoxide is definitely an odorless gas found in auto exhaust. However, These may NOT be probably the most dangerous chemicals contained in the cigarettes.

It is also known that some of the chemicals increase the craving for and addiction to tobacco smoking. Smokers experience a lot more chemicals than they realize. The result of Second Hand Smoke

To create matter worse, second hand smoke is much more dangerous. The American Surgeon General found over 50 cancer causing chemicals that are present in tobacco smoke. The unfortunate result is that others or members of the family can be cultivated health problems without ever smoking a cigarette!
