Introduction

lvs-kiss is a daemon which enables you to create load balanced, high availability services.

lvs-kiss is designed to make load balancing with fail over simple. The primary design goal is for you to get load balancing with fail over up and running within an hour or so. Setting up a load balancing web server cluster with failover is trivial.

Secondary design goal is to be able to make this software as powerful and flexible as possible. Embedding of Perl in configuration files and load balancing based on custom made tests should be possible without to much hassle.

lvs-kiss is developed by Linpro AS and is released under the GNU Public License. lvs-kiss is hosted at Sourceforge.
