Care and maintenance of the solid wood laminate flooring (1) Humidity in the room should not be too large. Keep the floor dry, clean. Using wrung cotton mops to wipe while doing daily cleaning. In case of stubborn stains, you should use a mild cleaning solvent. Do not use organic solvents, acid, alkaline solvent or gasoline scrub. (2) You have to avoid using heavy metal sharps, glass tiles, studs or other hard objects so that you won’t scratch the floor. Do not drag on the floor surface when moving furniture. Make sure there is no high-power electric device on the floor. (3) In order to maintain the beauty of the laminate flooring and to extend the service life of the paint, we recommend waxing maintenance twice a year. Make sure it is clean before waxing, and then evenly spread on the surface layer of floor. Slightly drying it with a soft cloth until the flooring is smooth and shining. (4) Exposure in the sun for a long time or a steep rise of room temperature may cause premature aging of the solid wood floor. (5) If you don’t live in immediately after the installation is complete, you have to maintain the indoor air circulation. Do not cover with plastic wrap or newspaper, or the surface coating will be sticky and dull. (6)Keep a regular cleaning of the floors, vacuuming, to prevent the friction of sand or dust accumulation and scratching the floor surface. You may place a mat at the door, in order to avoid the friction of sand or dust into the interior. (7) If the humidity outdoor is greater than the indoor humidity, you can shut the doors and windows to keeping a low humidity indoor; Otherwise, open doors and windows to reduce indoor humidity. In hot and humid weather, you can open the air conditioning or fans.
