Personal Training Jobs

One of the major questions I get from new web is where do you discover the personal training jobs listings. Well, in short, wherever they need you the most! Okay, okay, I know that's not what you want, but it really very well, so remember this:

The best personal fitness trainer jobs are where they want YOU the most.

To be more specific, do you think that Ritz, the W and some other luxury hotels have issues locating trainers? Sometimes yes, sometimes no - I'll be in to that in a 2nd.

What about the gym in a whole new, far out suburb?

Bingo! The gym in the fresh suburb probably has additional trouble finding ANY instructor or ANY personal trainer. If you are new to your personal education business, it may help to find a new suburb that has a new gym. The new gym shall be glad to see you and you also can dominate that tiny local market at least for a time (getting ALL the clients you'll be able to possibly handle at the price you set)! It makes your job of marketing Incredibly easier.

Chain gyms have collection pay rates for fitness instructors but hometown gyms can be more flexible and are more likely to cut you in to the action if you aid them grow.... This can be pretty lucrative.

Now, what was I saying regarding the Ritz? Clubs at exclusive hotels sound like very attractive to fitness trainers. These kinds of clubs usually pay above average, the facilities are normally gorgeous, the equipment is ordinarily new, the clients can be celebrities and various wealthy people... but guess what, these wealthy people HARDLY EVER tip and rarely have any consideration to suit your needs. You see, the problem is, the clients who elect to workout at the Ritz can consider you, the personal trainer, a servant.

That may be cool along, but sometimes health and fitness jobs it really sucks. If a client even thinks she's a problem with people, BAM, you are fired. You correct her form; she gets upset; BAM you're fired! You congratulate her about getting engaged; she accuses you of likely to steal her jewelry; BAM you're fired! Your client makes improper suggestions for after a long time activities; you politely decline his offer; BAM, you're fired!

Even if you have best record, best clientele, best demeanor, unfortunately, places like the Ritz should bend to the whim of their clients, no matter how crazy a client could possibly be. It is not good. Too bad.

The other issue that does typically come up will be, the higher-end clubs include fewer members. You may not have the ability to fill your schedule how we like. If you are only working like a personal trainer part time frame, that may be ideal, but if you want to make a career beyond personal training, you need to load your hours.
